The pier at the viennese homebase is the connecting element between ship and Hermannpark; a terrace-like plateau by land - for the purpose of bringing visitors closer to the water - partially elevated over the bank. A place available and worthwhile staying, albeit the ship is running along the danube.
As a landbound infrastructure, a compact structure can be attached to the landing platform, consisting of restrooms, storage- and office containers, encased by folding and sliding wall-elements, providing a state of complete enclosure or partial openness according to the state of operation.
This physical structure is mobile, adaptable and demountable, can be loaded or unloaded from the ship rapidly and is some kind of melting point for the landbound activities.
